Services

The horses are bedded on shavings and the stalls are cleaned 7 days a week. We are open 365 days a year from 9 am- 8 pm. Board includes hay and grain twice a day at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each aisle of each barn has at least two tack rooms and two of the barns have an inside wash rack. There is also an outside wash rack. Each stall has a vent from a central ventilation system located in each aisle. These systems are operated in the hot part of summer for the horse’s comfort. We have 3 lighted arenas, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor.

Feed:

The grain we use is a sweet feed formulated by the University of MO Equine Center, so the horses receive everything they need, including salt and minerals. Strategy and Equine Senior are available for an extra charge. We provide grass hay for the horses. Alfalfa is available for an extra charge.

Due to safety concerns, no hay is stored in our boarding barns. We provide an outbuilding for the boarders to use and we have a separate hay barn.

Pasture board:

We have a limited number of pasture horse spaces available. The horses are separated into 2 groups, geldings and mares. Each herd is rotated between 4 grass pastures. Two pastures are in use while the other 2 pastures recover and rest. No other horses are ridden or turned out in those pastures. The pasture horses receive hay in the winter months.

We operate a clean, safe, family friendly environment that is pleasant and stress-free for you to relax. Our peaceful valley is a perfect getaway to reconnect and enjoy one of your most important treasures…your horse!
